Sarasota, Florida, August 1, 2009  – ALLIEDFLEX® leader in providing global Stand-up Pouch and Innovative Pouch Packaging Machinery Systems from a group of well respected global suppliers has added the renowned SJ Pack of Korea to their Pouch Machinery Program. 

SJ Pack is a major Korean machinery manufacturer, specializing in sanitary, compact Rotary Pouch Fill / Seal packaging machinery with a focus on retort processed foods and hot fill liquid pouch packaging technologies.

Retort & Liquid Pouch packaging is a growing trend fueled by the movement toward sustainability, source reduction, product marketing differentiation and consumer convenience.  Pouch packaging is replacing more expensive traditional metal cans, glass bottles, jars and plastic tubs. In recent years we have seen major market introductions in the processed food, pet food, beverage and condiment - sauce categories.  

Under the agreement ALLIEDFLEX Technologies, Inc. will act as the exclusive North & South American Distributor for the total SJ Pack machinery program.
